A plan for everyone

I was surprised to learn that the majority of their clientele are families. And after seeing the amenities they have for each family member, it's no surprise.

Imagine this: a family of four traveling with the grandparents. The youngest child spends the morning in the supervised "Kids for All Seasons" program, the teenager heads to "The Container," a space that includes ping-pong tables, billiards, and video games (without adults present, because there's nothing more annoying for a teenager than their parents—let's face it)... The father goes with the grandfather to play golf, while the mother and grandmother pamper themselves with a treatment at the spa. They all gather in the afternoon for a stroll along the "Lazy River," and at sunset, they dine on Mediterranean-style food with an ocean view at Richard Sandoval's restaurant, Bahia.

Now, a group of friends organizes a trip and stays at "Treasure House," an exclusive seven-bedroom house perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. None of the group members want to think about leaving the house, and they have no reason to. The house has a private chef, bartender, and concierges, access to a private beach, a movie theater, and even a speakeasy hidden behind a bookcase at the end of the hallway. Why leave this place?

And finally, the cherry on top. A newlywed couple wants an unforgettable experience. He enjoys camping, but she loves nature until she's told she won't be able to shower. Obviously, she's not going to spend her wedding night in a tent without a shower and in a place full of bugs. He finds the perfect spot: an all-inclusive hotel (separate from the resort) with 19 hectares of beachfront property that combines nature and luxury. As part of the Four Seasons group, they have access to the resort's facilities, but I doubt they'll ever leave Naviva if their room is a luxury tent with an ocean view and a private pool. Before their arrival, their personal concierge planned their entire itinerary, which includes a temazcal (traditional sweat lodge), a couples' spa session, a hike in the surrounding area, a jungle picnic, and all accompanied by a personalized menu available 24 hours a day.

A gastronomic range

Something that has defined the Four Seasons group, besides its service, is the quality of its restaurants. And Punta Mita is no exception. Jorge González, the resort's executive chef, tells us that they are always looking for ways to evolve, from creating pizza pop-ups in a small window to completely renovating one of their flagship restaurants.

Its gastronomic offering takes us by the hand through the Mediterranean (Bahía), through the Mexican Republic (Dos Catrinas), through Japan in the Tamai pool bar and throughout Asia with the new opening of Aramara.

The renovation of Aramara took about nine months, but customers were so insistent on continuing to enjoy their dishes that they decided to open a pop-up near the pool area, Jorge tells us. The conceptualization of both the new menu and the space, in collaboration with Sasson Architecture Studio, was led by chef Richard Sandoval.

Martín Verduzco, the chef leading the project, received training in Thailand and at various Richard's restaurants to ensure Aramara's success. The flavors that would define the new menu were forged in the heat of the woks. New creations include robata grills, pork belly bao buns, lobster fried rice, sashimi, and various types of sushi, but the menu still includes favorites like the spiced half duck or the miso-glazed Dengakuman catch of the day.

The space is brand new, giving great visual weight to the open kitchen, which blends the tradition and modernity of Asian cultures, all framed by the stunning ocean backdrop. It's a place to enjoy the sunset, sip drinks, and reflect on the beauty of this location.
