Seri Rasa x RASA 2026 Festival Held With Celebration, Uniting Food, Culture & Community

The 2026 Seri Rasa x RASA Festival, which took place from 11 to 16 September 2026 at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, has come to an end after six days of bringing together food lovers, families and the community in a lively atmosphere. The event not only celebrates the diversity of food, but also serves as a platform to bring RASA closer to the community through hands-on experiences.

Throughout the six days, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food options as well as participate in activities provided at the RASA booth. Among the highlights is the Coffee Painting Corner, a creative activity that gives children the opportunity to create works using the medium of coffee.

Also taking place was a trivia session that tested visitors' knowledge while offering special prizes and free crackers and chips. Such leisurely activities make a visit to the RASA booth not just about looking around, but also provide space for the whole family to spend time together.

Seri Rasa x RASA 2026 Festival Distributes 2,026 Packs of Kampung Fried Rice

Among the main events that took place on 13 September 2026 was the distribution of 2,026 packs of free Nasi Goreng Kampung to visitors.

The joint activity with Ajinomoto and Seri-Aji® is part of an effort to create a Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) record for the “Most 'Nasi Goreng Kampung' Giveaway In An Event” category. The large distribution was one of the highlights of the Seri Rasa x RASA 2026 Festival.

It is not just a food distribution activity, but rather illustrates how a dish that is so close to Malaysians like Nasi Goreng Kampung can be part of a larger experience that connects brands, communities and visitors in one event.

This Kampung Fried Rice is prepared using Seri-Aji® Kampung Fried Rice Seasoning, which makes it easy to prepare a fried rice dish with a complete, delicious and appetizing taste.

Throughout the festival, various interesting activities are also provided for visitors. One of them is the Cooking Demo. The excitement of the Seri Rasa x RASA Festival continues on September 16, in conjunction with Malaysia Day, through two competitions that highlight local food and drink elements.

The Flying Roti Canai Competition featured exciting acts from the participants, enlivened by the appearance of Chef Matt, The Flying Chef. The art of spreading roti canai, which is usually seen at mamak shops, was brought to the competition area, thus providing a different experience for visitors.

No less interesting is the Teh Tarik Master Competition presented by OKI which also features Fakir, Teh Tarik King. This competition gives male and female participants the opportunity to show their creativity and skills in producing their own teh tarik acts, with cash prizes awaiting the winners.

In this competition, the participants used OKI Kopi dan Teh Tarik Sweetened Creamer. This product has better foaming properties, Easy Open End and is available in 500 gram, 1 kilogram & also 2.5 kilogram sizes. As it develops, OKI has expanded its range to include cooking oil, bakery and confectionery products, dairy products and savoury premix for consumers and food operators.
