Recipe for pizza with stuffed crust, submitted by Karen Santos

1. Place in a bowl and mix with your hands until it forms a firm dough, then add the cup of warm water.

Ingredients · Servings 8
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour (240 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dry yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water
Method · 1 h 40 min
  1. Place in a bowl and mix with your hands until it forms a firm dough, then add the cup of warm water.
  2. Then knead for 10 minutes.
  3. When kneading, cover with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Once the dough has risen, roll it out and sprinkle with flour to prevent sticking.
  5. Open it and place it on top of your baking pan, letting it extend over the edge to create a border.
  6. Place Catupiry cheese (creamy cheese spread) or your preferred filling on the edge to seal it, then rinse with water along the sides.
  7. Add tomato sauce and your preferred filling, then bake in a very hot oven for 30 minutes (depending on your oven).
