Clean the pumpkin and cut it into cubes, season it with oil, salt, pepper and oregano and then cook it in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the extra virgin olive oil in a pan with a clove of garlic. Then, add the clams and let them open with a little water. As they open, remove them and set aside.

Strain the clam cooking water and add it to the pumpkin in a blender. Blend until smooth, then sieve.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook the linguine and, halfway through, add them to the pan with the pumpkin puree. Finish cooking by adding the cooking water and finally stirring in the extra virgin olive oil. Add the clams.
