Vivi's Express Pressure Cooker Pasta Recipe, submitted by Victória Cecília

1. Sauté the garlic and onion in a pressure cooker with a drizzle of oil until golden brown, then add the bacon and chopped sausage.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 350 g of ground beef
  • 1 small piece of bacon
  • 1/2 calabrese sausage
  • 4 large cloves of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 250g of uncooked fusilli or penne pasta
  • 2 sachets of tomato sauce
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 package of sliced ​​olives
  • Salt and spices to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine and a drizzle of olive oil
  • water
  • 2 bay leaves
Method · 20 min
  1. Sauté the garlic and onion in a pressure cooker with a drizzle of oil until golden brown, then add the bacon and chopped sausage.
  2. Add the ground beef and let it sauté and brown well, then add the olives and salt.
  3. Next, add the pasta and sauté it briefly, then add the two packets of tomato sauce and, if needed, enough water to cover.
  4. Add the corn and spices; I used: oregano, nutmeg, hot paprika, chimichurri, a few drops of lemon juice, a capful of red wine, and cumin.
  5. Add the butter, olive oil, and bay leaves, cover the pot, and once it comes to pressure, cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Tip: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top when serving.
