Oysters in spicy vinaigrette
Ingredients · Servings 4 people
- 0.5 shallot
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 red pepper
- 2 limes
- 4 sprigs of fresh coriander
- 1 tbsp sushi ginger
- 1 tbsp sushi ginger liquid
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 8 oysters
Method · 15 min
- Heat the sesame oil, rice vinegar, sushi ginger liquid, sugar, and fish sauce in a frying pan.
- Remove the seeds from the red chili pepper and chop finely. Also chop the sushi ginger finely and add to the frying pan.
- Slice the shallot into thin rings and squeeze the juice from the limes. Add to the frying pan and let simmer over low heat.
- Pick the leaves from the coriander and chop them finely. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped coriander.
- Spoon 2 teaspoons of vinaigrette onto each oyster.
