Brussels sprout salad with pear and Parma ham

Using Brussels sprouts as a salad? It’s totally possible! This Brussels sprout salad with pear and Parma ham is delicious.

Ingredients · Servings 4 people
  • 300 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 peer
  • 2 el cranberries
  • lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 6 slices of Parma ham
Method · 30 min
  1. Slice the Brussels sprouts as finely as possible to get very thin slices. Or use a mandoline or food processor.
  2. Cut the pear into quarters and then cut those into slices as thin as possible.
  3. Put the Brussels sprouts, pear, and cranberries in a salad bowl.
  4. Make a dressing by mixing lemon juice, olive oil, and maple syrup. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the dressing with the Brussels sprouts and pear.
  6. Fry the slices of Parma ham until crispy in a frying pan. Chop coarsely and add to the Brussels sprout salad.
