Pizza snails
Zucchini (approx. 200 g)

- 1 Zucchini
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 package of pizza dough
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 100g ham
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Salt
- Pfeffer
- 100g cheese
Method · 30 min
- Cut the zucchini into small cubes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Pluck the rosemary needles from the sprigs and finely chop them. Let the pizza dough thaw and roll it out lightly on a floured work surface.
- Mix tomato paste with diced ham, sugar, salt, pepper, and rosemary until smooth. Spread onto the pizza dough, sprinkle with diced zucchini and 80g of cheese. Then cut into strips 2cm wide and about 15cm long. Roll each strip into a spiral. Sprinkle with 20g of cheese. Place the spirals on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven on the second shelf from the bottom at 200°C (Gas Mark 3, 180°C fan) for 25 minutes. Serve the spirals warm or cold.

If you want to prepare vegetarian pizza rolls, simply omit the diced ham.
