Bagel with salmon, egg, and cucumber

Looking for a tasty and easy idea for Easter brunch? This salmon and egg bagel is truly one of those recipes that always works. Perfect for Easter, but also ideal as a quick lunch or weekend breakfast. Easy to make and super delicious!

Ingredients · Servings 2
  • 2 (afbak) bagels
  • 50 gr gerookte zalm
  • 2 eieren
  • kruidenroomkaas
  • 1/4 komkommer
  • handje rucola
  • dille
  • snufje peper
Method · 20 min
  1. Bak de bagels volgens de instructies op de verpakking (als je afbak bagels hebt).
  2. Kook de eieren in 8 minuten hard. Laat de eieren schrikken.
  3. Pel de eieren en snijd in plakjes.
  4. Snijd de bagels open en ruim besmeer met kruidenroomkaas.
  5. Beleg de bagel met zalm, ei, komkommer, rucola en dille. Breng op smaak met een snufje peper.

  • 2 (bake-off) bagels
  • 50 g smoked salmon
  • 2 eggs
  • herb cream cheese
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • handful of arugula
  • with language
  • pinch of pepper

Preparation method:

  • Bake the bagels according to the instructions on the packaging (if you have bake-at-home bagels).
  • Boil the eggs for 8 minutes until hard-boiled. Cool the eggs under cold water.
  • Peel the eggs and cut into slices.
  • Cut the bagels open and spread generously with herbed cream cheese.
  • Top the bagel with salmon, egg, cucumber, arugula, and dill. Season with a pinch of pepper.
