A definitive stamp entirely dedicated to pennette & Co. has been issued, an important recognition that recognizes not only a local product, but also the work of all those working in the sector.

Gragnano pasta is a perfect fit for the thematic stamp series "The Excellence of the Production System and Made in Italy," an institutional project created to highlight the products and artisanal traditions that make Italy famous and appreciated worldwide. Thus, with an evocative design featuring an ear of wheat delicately held in a hand, an everyday local staple is transformed into a stamp.
This recognition from the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) officially establishes Gragnano pasta in the Italian philatelic and cultural landscape, transforming it into a small art and collectible object ready to travel on envelopes and in catalogs around the world. But that's not all. The special stamp, issued in a print run of over 200,000, features a graphic design that celebrates not only food, but also the inextricable and profound bond between the natural raw material and human labor.

The official presentation of the stamp was held in a context of exceptional local and tourist importance: the traditional and eagerly awaited "Gragnano City of Pasta" event, from September 11th to 13th. It's no coincidence that Poste Italiane has organized a special temporary service for the occasion, offering collectors the opportunity to purchase the stamp and accompanying postcards directly on site.
