Agrifood excellence meets students: at the ITS EAT Academy Future Day, a meeting between business and education
GROSSETO – Some of the finest Tuscan agri-food companies will be the protagonists of the ITS EAT Academy Future Day, the event scheduled for Thursday, October 1st, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at the ITS EAT Academy headquarters, at Via Giuseppe Scopetani 6, in the Cittadella dello Studente in Grosseto.
The initiative, created in collaboration with Vetrina Toscana, was created to connect the worlds of education and business, offering students a concrete opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the professionalism, skills, and opportunities offered by the agrifood and agribusiness sectors.
Vetrina Toscana is a project of the Tuscany Region, in collaboration with Unioncamere Toscana, which promotes food and wine tourism, under the direction of Toscana Promozione Turistica, with the support of the Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
The afternoon will open with a roundtable discussion entitled "Agrifood Companies and the Importance of Communication," bringing together representatives from leading companies and the media world to discuss how to build a region's value, promote its excellence, and the role that training and innovation play in business growth.
Alessandro Gallo, from Rocca di Montemassi and Castello d'Albola, Simone Sargentoni, owner of Il Fiorino, Riccardo Colasanti, from the Girasasso winery, and journalist Francesca Sabatini will be sharing their experience.
Four different perspectives, united by a strong connection to the local area and the belief that the future of agrifood lies in increasingly qualified skills, the ability to innovate, and effective communication that enhances products, companies, and regions.
The goal of the meeting is to offer students the opportunity to hear firsthand the experiences of those who work in the sector every day, understanding the skills most in demand by companies today and the opportunities a high-level technical training program like that of the ITS EAT Academy can offer.
Future Day will continue with testimonials from ITS EAT Academy graduates, who will share their journey from training to entering the world of work, and with the diploma award ceremony for the students who have completed their training.
The initiative will conclude with a tour of the ITS EAT Academy and a networking opportunity for students, families, teachers, and business representatives, encouraging direct dialogue between those preparing to enter the workforce and those seeking new career opportunities every day.
