Brewers from Mercedes will officially launch the 2026 Festival this Tuesday at Fresca
The Mercedinos Brewers Association will hold the official presentation of the 8th edition of the Mercedinos Brewers Festival 2026 this Tuesday, September 22nd at 8:00 PM.
The launch event will take place at Fresca, a space located at the intersection of 31st and 26th streets.
The formal presentation of the 8th edition of the event will take place at the corner of 31st and 26th streets. Following the historic first collaborative cooking event held weeks ago, local producers will reveal the details of the festival that will be held on October 3rd and 4th in the Municipal Park.
The event will serve as a prelude to the main festival, which is confirmed to take place on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 at the facilities of the Independence Municipal Park.
During Tuesday's meeting, which also announced a performance by DrumRitmia, the organizers will provide details about the schedule of activities, food options, and the various craft beers that will be available at the community center. This official launch comes just weeks after a significant production milestone for the local sector.
At the beginning of August, the city's brewers held their first collaborative brew at producer Franz Scheitler's facility, with the participation of established figures such as Arturo Puga (Microcervecería 6600), among others. During this session, they created a special, original recipe with fruity notes, technically designed to represent the city's artisanal identity during the October festival.
The event is organized by the Mercedes Brewers Association, the Tourism Department of the Municipality of Mercedes, the Federal Investment Council (CFI) and the Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation of the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires.
