A new oyster festival is coming to Washington, D.C. this weekend featuring fresh oysters and ice-cold beer

The first annual event will take over Pearl Street and Kirwan’s on the Wharf on Saturday, September 26th, celebrating the start of oyster season with an afternoon of food, drinks and entertainment.

The festival will feature fresh oysters, ice-cold Peroni, live music, giveaways, and photo moments, with admission free for anyone who wants to stop by.

The Peroni on Pearl Street Oyster Festival takes place Saturday, September 26th, from 1 pm to 6 pm at the Wharf.

The event is being presented by The Wharf in partnership with Kirwan’s on the Wharf and Peroni, with the afternoon centered around the start of oyster season.

The festival will run for five hours this Saturday, from 1 pm to 6 pm, giving visitors plenty of time to make their way to the waterfront and enjoy the festivities.

Kirwan’s on the Wharf is located at 749 Wharf Street Southwest, Washington, D.C. 20024, while Pearl Street provides the setting for the festival.
