Vinaigrette is taking a rest: this salad with beets and fried onions blows away the usual salads

If you're tired of regular vegetable salads, try a unique twist using simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Take two boiled beets, four onions, three pickled cucumbers, 200 g of green peas, half a bunch of dill, two tablespoons of vegetable oil, salt and black pepper.

How to cook

Slice the onion into half rings and fry until golden brown. Grate the cucumbers, squeeze out any excess brine, and add to the onions. Heat for about 5 minutes, then add the peas. Cut the beetroot into strips and transfer to the pan. Add dill, salt, and pepper, stir gently, and heat for a couple more minutes.

Helpful advice

Serve the salad immediately or refrigerate. It will become even more flavorful cold if you let it sit in the refrigerator for about an hour.
