The Longest Table in Cologne 2026 – All information about the Cologne street festival in the Severinsviertel
As every year, Cologne's most traditional street festival, Dä Längste Desch vun Kölle (The Longest Table in Cologne), will take place on the third weekend of September in 2026.
Shopping and Sunday shopping on Severinstraße
On Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day, Severinstraße will be in full bloom at the "Längste Desch vun Kölle 2026" (Longest Table in Cologne 2026). Around 120 vendors, craftspeople, clubs, and restaurateurs will set up their stalls at the popular street festival. The offerings range from the latest fashions to fresh flowers and toys, all the way to handcrafted treasures.
A special highlight awaits on Sunday, September 20, 2026: As part of a Sunday shopping event, the local shops in the neighborhood will open their doors from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and invite visitors to browse extensively during the street festival.
Delicious Kölsch beer and culinary delights
Of course, your physical well-being is also well catered for, as the street festival leaves nothing to be desired in terms of culinary delights. Along the festival mile at the Longest Table in Cologne 2026, the air is filled with the aroma of hearty and sweet specialties from the region and around the world. From classic grilled sausages and fresh pasta to sweet crêpes, there's plenty to choose from for every taste. Naturally, a freshly tapped Kölsch beer is a must, while numerous non-alcoholic drinks and other refreshments will keep you cool.
Art mile and children's program on the Longest Table in Cologne 2026
As in previous years, there will be an art mile again this year. Artists will exhibit their works in Hirschgäßchen. Live art performances are also planned there.
There's plenty of entertainment for the little ones, too. On Im Dau street and Karl-Berbuer-Platz, kids can let loose on bouncy castles and get their faces painted. There will also be a children's carousel. At the popular wheel of fortune run by the Spillmannsgasser Junge eV neighborhood association, which will also have a stand showcasing itself and its activities, children can spin for free sweets or toys. And many an adult will surely appreciate a bag of gummy bears as well.
Stage program on Severinskirchplatz
A central meeting point at the street festival is the stage on Severinskirchplatz. Here, guests at the Längste Desch vun Kölle 2026 can expect a varied entertainment program on both days, featuring Rhineland dialect, live bands, German pop music, dancing, and a rousing atmosphere.
