Baked Figs with Blue Cheese Cream

Make a cross-shaped cut into the stem end of the figs.

Preheat oven to 200°C. Make a cross-shaped cut into the stem end of the figs. Wrap each fig with a slice of prosciutto.

Step 2

Pour the cream into a saucepan. Add crumbled blue cheese and Parmesan. Stirring constantly, simmer over low heat until thickened. Add the cognac. Simmer for another 3 minutes. Season with pepper.

Step 3

Pour the prepared sauce into an 18 cm ovenproof dish. Add the figs. Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Drizzle with liquid honey and sprinkle with chopped pistachios. Serve with a crusty baguette.
