For three days, dishes from around the world will be available at Ernst-Thälmann-Platz in Pirna. The street food festival takes place outdoors from Friday, September 18th, to Sunday, September 20th. Admission is free.
On Fridays, the festival opens at 3 pm and closes at 10 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it starts at 11 am and ends at 8 pm on Sunday.
Street food festival in Pirna: These are the dishes on offer
The organizer describes the festival as "Europe's largest street food festival" and promises dishes from all continents, freshly prepared on site. Among other things, the menu will include burritos, insects, Hungarian chimney cake, pelmeni, and Korean fried chicken. There will also be craft beer bars and cocktails.
The event will also include music and a chill-out area, as well as carousels and an entertainment program for children.
