MENTANA – “Degustaborgo,” a treasure hunt through the history and flavors of Garibaldi's city
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Degustaborgo returns to Mentana, the event organized by the municipal administration dedicated to discovering the historical, cultural, and gastronomic heritage of Garibaldi's city.
An afternoon and an evening to experience Mentana through its places, its stories and its flavours, with activities designed for adults and children.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm with the Urban Treasure Hunt.
The meeting point is at the Garibaldi Altar-Ossuary Gardens at Via della Rocca 2.
Discover the sights and flavors of Mentana! A tour of the city's sprawling historic center, exploring its artistic and cultural heritage and sampling typical local products.
At 7 pm at the Giardini Martiri delle Foibe, there will be “Libri golosi,” readings aloud for children aged 2 to 6, led by volunteers from the Born to Read project in Mentana.
At 7:30 pm, again at the Giardino Martiri delle Foibe, a typical dinner for participants will be held, a dinner dedicated to traditional flavors, hosted by Trattoria di Garibaldi.
Participation in the treasure hunt is free and requires a reservation.
