Spicy Chicken ‘n’ Pickle Bites
These chicken bites are served with a side of creamy blue cheese dipping sauce and Parmesan steak fries.
- 15 EA. Tyson Red Label Authentically Crispy Spicy Chicken Breast Chunks, Frozen
- 10 EA. Dill Pickle Slices, Thick
- 2 OZ. Blue Cheese Sauce 8 OZ. Garlic Parmesan Steak Cut Fries
- Blue Cheese Sauce
- 8 OZ. Heavy Cream
- 4 OZ. Gorgonzola Blue Cheese, Crumbled
- 2 TBSP. Unsalted Butter
- 1 TBSP. All-Purpose Flour
- 2 OZ. Whole Milk
- 1 TSP. Dijon Mustard, Prepared
- 1 TSP. Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ TSP. Garlic Powder Seasoning
- 1/4 TSP. Kosher Salt
- 1/4 TSP. Ground Black Pepper
- 1 TSP.Fresh Parsley, Chopped
- Garlic Parmesan Steak Fries
- 10 OZ Steak Cut Fries, Prepared
- 2 OZ. Unsalted Butter
- 1 TBSP. Chopped Parsley
- 1 TBSP. Minced Garlic
- 3 TBSP. Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 TSP. Ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 TSP. Dried Oregano
- 1/2 TSP. Kosher Salt
- Spicy Chicken 'n' Pickle Bites
- Preheat frying oil to 350°F.
- From frozen, place chicken in fryer basket, submerge in oil, and shake basket. (Do NOT over pack in basket.) Cook for 6-7 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally during cooking to ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from fryer and hold warm.
- Using a clean work surface, stack each skewer with three chicken chunks and two pickle coins, interchanging ingredients so they are stacked.
- Once skewers are complete, place them onto a serving dish with garlic parmesan fries and a ramekin of blue cheese sauce.
- Serve immediately.

This chicken appetizer from Tyson Foods includes spicy breaded chicken chunks alternating with dill pickle coins on skewers, served alongside garlic parmesan steak fries and blue cheese dipping sauce.
Step 1: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Step 2: Once the butter is melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes to form a roux. This will help thicken the sauce.
Step 3: Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 4: Reduce heat to low and add the crumbled blue cheese to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and well incorporated in Step 5: Add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Step 7: Remove saucepan from heat and allow sauce cool slightly before serving. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Step 1: Cook fries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 2: While the fries are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Step 3: Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Step 4: Once the fries are done cooking, remove them from the fryer and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
Step 5: Pour garlic butter over the fries and toss to coat evenly.
Step 6: Add grated Parmesan cheese and toss again until well coated.
Step 7: Remove from mixing bowl and use as needed.
