Garlic bread tortilla
This garlic bread tortilla with cheese is a lifesaver for unexpected guests or if you're looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe. You can change the type of cheese and herbs or other spices to suit your taste or what you have at home.

- 4 cloves of garlic
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 200 g grated mozzarella (cheddar or Edam 45%)
- 2 wheat tortillas
- salt
- ground pepper
- dried or fresh herbs (to taste)
Method · 20 min
- Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop them or press them through a garlic press.
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat).
- Mix the garlic with olive oil, salt, pepper and herbs.
- Place one tortilla on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush half of the garlic oil on the tortilla and sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella. Place the second tortilla on top, brush with the remaining garlic oil and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella.
- Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Serve either alone or with sour cream, or with a dip of your choice.
