One-Pan Pasta with Spinach

Cooked in one go: creamy pasta with two kinds of cheese, frozen spinach and fried onions.

Ingredients · Servings 4 people
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 EL Kill
  • 500g frozen leaf spinach
  • Sweet paprika, salt, pepper
  • 400 g short tube pasta (eg Mezzi rigatoni)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable broth (instant)
  • 200 g sliced ​​cheese (piece; e.g. medium-aged Gouda)
  • 200 g double cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp fried onions
Method · 30 min
  1. Peel the onion and garlic, and finely chop both. Heat oil in a deep pan. Briefly sauté the onion and garlic. Add the frozen spinach, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, and a little salt and pepper.
  2. Add the pasta, 1.3 liters of hot water, and broth. Coarsely grate the cheese and stir about half of it, along with the cream cheese, into the pasta. Cover and bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 16 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the top, cover, and melt. Sprinkle with fried onions before serving.
