Making sweet golden fried bread
To make this super easy and delicious sweet fried bread, you'll only need a little less than ten minutes, just as mentioned. Start by breaking the eggs into a bowl and whisking them with the granulated sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Add the milk, mix again, and set aside. Then, melt a little butter in a pan.
Take the loaf of bread and quickly dip each slice in the egg and milk mixture, shaking off the excess. Then place the slices in the pan and cook them for about a couple of minutes per side, until they're golden brown on the outside and have a delicious crust. Melt a little more butter after each addition to prevent the slices from burning.
Once done, place them on paper towels to remove any excess and serve immediately, dusted with a little powdered sugar if you like. You can eat the bread plain or filled with fresh fruit and whipped cream, jams, and spreads: a true feast for the eyes and the palate!
