A great wake-up call: make apple strudel in 10 minutes, better than croissants from the bar

This version of express apple strudel is perfect for those short on time but still want a special breakfast. No lengthy dough or resting time: with a ready-made crust and a simple filling, the strudel is baked in just a few minutes, filling the house with the scent of apples and cinnamon. Ingredients for an apple strudel ready in 10 minutes

The ingredients are few and easy to find. The ready-made base is the trick that saves you time without sacrificing flavor.

  • 1 roll of puff pastry or ready-made strudel pastry
  • 3 bodies
  • 60 g of sugar
  • 40 g of breadcrumbs
  • 30 g of butter
  • Juice of half a lemon

Preparation is quick and stress-free. You're ready to bake in ten minutes.

  • Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into thin slices.
  • Place the apples in a bowl and drizzle them with lemon juice.
  • Add the sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
  • In a pan, melt the butter and lightly toast the breadcrumbs.
  • Roll out the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Spread the breadcrumbs over the base, leaving the edges free.
  • Pour the apple filling over the breadcrumbs.
  • Fold the edges and roll up the strudel.
  • Brush the surface with a little melted butter.
  • Cook in a static oven at 180°C for approximately 30–35 minutes.

Once baked, let it cool and dust with powdered sugar.
