Penguin egg recipe to amuse children

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 4 small eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of ricotta
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 8 black olives
  • 1 small piece of turkey ham
Method · 20 min
  1. Cook the eggs for 9 minutes (to make hard-boiled eggs). Once cooked, cut off the bottom of each egg to create a flat surface and carefully scoop out the insides.
  2. Mix the egg yolk with the ricotta and salt. If the children like it, you can add herbs of their choice (parsley, coriander, chives, etc.).
  3. Carefully fill the eggs with this mixture and set aside.
  4. Cut "webbed feet" from the turkey ham. Cut 4 olives in half and skewer each half onto a toothpick.
  5. Arrange the webbed feet on the plates. Place an egg on top, cut-side down. Insert black olive halves on the sides of each egg and a whole black olive on top to make the head.
  6. Add eyes and a beak using the leftover ham. Serve immediately.
