Nan bread pizza with minced meat
Minced meat naan pizza works great on busy days. This Moroccan and Turkish version is topped with hummus, spicy meat, feta cheese and pomegranate seeds. It takes a little time to find all the spices for minced meat naan pizza, but other than that, the cooking itself is pretty quick.

- 400 g chickpeas
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp tahini
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- 500 - 600 g minced meat
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 0.5 tsp ground pepper
- 0.5 tsp cardamom
- 0.25 tsp dried chili
- 1 ts salt
- 2 ss harissa
- oil
- 0.5 dl water
- 4 pieces of naan bread
- cucumber
- feta cheese
- pomegranate seeds
- herbs
- plain yogurt
Method · 45 min
- Make the hummus first. Rinse the chickpeas well in cold water if you are using canned chickpeas. Puree them in a blender until coarsely pureed.
- Add cumin, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. Process until smooth. Add a little water (about 0.5 dl) if the hummus seems too thick. Season with salt.
- Thinly slice the onion and finely chop the garlic. Use a large frying pan and brown the ground beef with the onion over high heat. Add the garlic and dried spices when the meat has browned well.
- Lower the temperature slightly and continue to cook, stirring, for a couple of minutes. Stir in the harissa and about 0.5 dl water and continue to simmer for a couple of minutes over low heat.
- Top warm naan bread with hummus, spiced roasted meat, cucumber, crumbled feta cheese, pomegranate seeds, herbs and a little yogurt if desired.

- 0.25 tsp dried chili, or chili flakes
