Rice porridge with milk in a pressure cooker-multicooker

Prepare everything you need to make rice porridge with milk in a pressure cooker. Choose low-fat milk. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear. Then drain the rice in a sieve.

Grease the bottom and sides of the multicooker bowl with a knob of butter. Grease the sides of the bowl above the level of the future porridge. This is to prevent the milk from boiling over. Leave any remaining butter in the bowl.

Then add the prepared rice to the bowl.

Pour milk and water over the rice. Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Place the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid, and set the multicooker-pressure cooker to the "Milk Porridge," "Rice," or "Pilaf" mode. Cook the rice porridge with milk in the multicooker for 15 minutes. Make sure the pressure valve is closed. The high pressure created inside the bowl allows the porridge to cook very quickly.

A beep will sound when the porridge is ready. Release the pressure by opening the valve and let the porridge sit in the closed bowl for about 10 minutes to allow it to steam slightly.

Divide the finished porridge into serving bowls and add a little butter. Serve with fresh berries.

Bon appetit!
