Austrian hosts are very passionate about their regional cuisine. In every federal state, you will discover typical regional specialties and culinary surprises.
In this episode of Delicious Austria, Laura de Grave discovers Alpine cuisine in Salzburgerland. This state is known for its delicious dairy products, herbs, and fruits. Laura travels from high peaks to deep valleys, tastes sheep's milk ice cream, and picks herbs for traditional Fleischkrapfen. She also learns how to make super simple but delicious blueberry pancakes.
In this episode, Laura de Grave continues her culinary journey through Austria and discovers the state of Carinthia. Laura learns about the slow food culture that is sacred in this province and fishes for trout in various ways. Finally, she learns about the traditional Austrian version of ravioli, better known as Kasnudeln.

Laura visits a farmer who makes sura kees, which she then uses to make Käsespätzle.
