Cyril Lignac unveils the first images of the kitchen at the Lucas Carton restaurant in Paris

Cyril Lignac has now taken over the kitchens of Lucas Carton. A few weeks after announcing his culinary signing, the chef is now at the helm of the legendary restaurant on Place de la Madeleine, and he has just unveiled the first images of this new Parisian adventure on his Instagram account.

This time, the project becomes concrete, chef Cyril Lignac shared on his Instagram account a series of photographs taken at Lucas Carton: the chef appears in the kitchen surrounded by his team, but also reveals the first dishes imagined for this new menu.

This sets the tone for this new chapter for the Parisian institution, now owned by Lapérouse Holding. The group, founded by Benjamin Patou and Antoine Arnault, acquired Lucas Carton last June, with the ambition of reviving this historic establishment on Place de la Madeleine.

Cyril Lignac takes center stage – For the chef, arriving at Lucas Carton also has a personal dimension. Twenty-five years ago, as a young cook, he sent his CV to Alain Senderens, who was then the face of the establishment. His application went unanswered. A quarter of a century later, it is finally he who has been entrusted with the responsibility of writing a new chapter in the restaurant's history.

The chef had announced from the outset his intention to offer a refined, deliberately classic French cuisine. The first images published in recent hours show dishes that seem to confirm this direction: immediately identifiable ingredients, clear presentation, and an apparent desire to reconnect with the codes of a great Parisian restaurant, without seeking technical virtuosity.

The stakes are high. Lucas Carton is part of Paris's gastronomic heritage, with its spectacular Art Nouveau decor and Majorelle-designed woodwork. A restaurant long associated with Alain Senderens, it is now seeking a new lease on life.

A new team takes center stage – Beyond the plates, Cyril Lignac has chosen to showcase the women and men who are joining him on this new adventure. This collective image symbolically marks the handover of the kitchens and the beginning of a new era for Lucas Carton. Following the highly publicized announcement of his arrival, it's now time for the restaurant and the kitchen to take center stage. The first dishes have been served, the team is in place, and Cyril Lignac is truly making his mark on the history of Lucas Carton.

A story that, for him, had begun with a CV sent twenty-five years ago.
