Mauro Uliassi
With over 50 years of experience in the kitchen, he grew up surrounded by flavors and culinary traditions: his maternal grandmother owned a trattoria, and his paternal grandmother cooked both at home and outside the home.
Together with his sister Catia, he opened Uliassi – cucina di mare in the port, a humble project that quickly became a benchmark. They started with five in the kitchen and three in the dining room, and that pioneering period marked the beginning of a career spanning more than 30 years in Italian haute cuisine.
Today, his story reflects the union of family tradition, passion and creativity, establishing him as a chef who has transformed his vocation into a recognized and admired culinary legacy.
