Nutella crepes
Crêpes are the symbol of French cuisine. They're a type of thin, round, and elastic wafer, cooked on a hot surface. They're filled with various sweet or savory fillings. The batter is made with milk, eggs, and flour, and in the sweet version, sugar is added to the batter.
Ingredients · Servings 12 crepes
- 3 eggs
- 450 ml of milk
- 200 g of flour
- butter
- 200g of Nutella
- powdered sugar
Method · 20 min
- In a bowl, beat the eggs
- Add the milk little by little and then the flour until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the fridge to rest for half an hour.
- Now take the batter and stir it. Melt a knob of butter in a nonstick pan, then add a ladle of batter. Tilt the pan so the batter spreads evenly across the entire surface, then cook each crepe for one minute on each side. Flip with a spatula and cook for another minute.
- Slide the crepe onto a plate and, while still warm, fill half of its surface with Nutella.
- Fold the Nutella crepes over the top and continue until all the batter is used up.
- Dust with icing sugar and serve:)
- Total: 25 min + 30 minutes batter resting time.
