  • a bowl
  • Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons of cake flour

  • the grated zest of an organic lemon
  • a sachet of vanilla
  • half a sachet of baking powder

Very sweet carnival fritters, procedure

Beat the egg with the citrus zest and vanilla. Gradually incorporate the flour, milk, and yeast. Mix all the ingredients until you have a smooth dough, then add the soaked raisins.

Using two spoons, transfer the batter, a little at a time, to a saucepan with oil at the right temperature, taking care to keep the dough shapes spaced apart. Fry them, turning them occasionally. Once cooked, drain the Carnival fritters and let them rest for a few moments on paper towels before dusting them with powdered sugar.
