Caffè Vergnano launches its Single Origin collection

Three single-origin, 100% Arabica beans with three distinct profiles, sourced from Brazil, Colombia, and Honduras. This is Single Origin, the new range of coffee beans with which Caffè Vergnano expands its premium offering for the away-from-home market.

With this new offering, the historic Piedmontese roaster interprets the evolution of coffee culture with a selection that highlights the provenance, characteristics of the raw materials, and the diverse aromatic expressions linked to the territories of origin.

Single Origin coffees

Going into detail about the three varieties, Brasile (1 kg format) comes from Alta Mogiana, a region located north of the state of São Paulo, known for producing premium Arabica coffee. Here, the coffee is grown on a plateau, at an altitude of between 900 and 1,000 meters, in climatic conditions that favor a slow and uniform ripening of the beans. Smooth and enveloping, it offers notes of cocoa and dried fruit, accompanied by hints of toasted cereals and warm bread, with a sweet and lingering finish reminiscent of cane sugar.

From the volcanic highlands of Huila, in the Colombian Andes region, comes Colombia (500g), a lively and fruity blend. Smooth in body, it features notes of black fruits that blend with the sweetness of chocolate and a bright acidity, complemented by elegant nuances of vanilla and almond.

Honduras (500g) completes the selection, a smooth and velvety Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee grown at altitudes between 1,500 and 1,800 meters and processed using the washed process. Its profile is characterized by notes of hazelnut chocolate and dried fruit, accompanied by a sweetness reminiscent of artisanal desserts.

The result of careful research aimed at offering cafés and operators a proposal capable of enhancing the coffee experience, the three products have a common thread: slow roasting, Caffè Vergnano's distinctive feature.

Materials for the bar

The launch of Single Origin is also accompanied by a dedicated merchandising system, designed to enhance the tasting experience and raise awareness of the new range within the establishment. Espresso cups, cappuccino cups, customized lids, and cup tags help highlight the characteristics of the three profiles and strengthen their identity. The project is complemented by communication materials such as posters, flyers, and saucers, which make the offering immediately recognizable to the end customer.
