10-minute bread recipe
I ran out of bread, I didn't have time, and my son can't eat without bread. It's clear he has baking genes... So I made him these super quick rolls, and he devoured them! Fresh out of the oven, they had a golden crust and an irresistible aroma.
Ingredients · Servings 3
- 220g of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder (like Royal brand)
- 125 grams of lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method · 30 min
- Sift or pass through a sieve the flour and baking powder. Separately, mix the warm water and salt.
- Make a well in the flour, add the water inside and form the dough; do not knead, just mix until the dough forms.
- It will look like this, somewhat amorphous and a little sticky. Let it rest while you get a frying pan, add just a tiny bit of oil, and heat it up.
- You take a piece of dough, about the size of a tennis ball.
- You stretch it out into a rectangle. You roll it up.
- You stretch it a little to make it longer,
- And now you curl up like a snail,
- You flatten it a little
- And into the pan over medium heat,
- You flatten it a little more, and when it's browned on one side, you turn it over so it browns on the other side.
- That's it! It didn't take any time at all and you have hot bread.
