Ah, poutine! We never tire of enjoying this delicious local dish. However, we're always looking for tasty ways to reinvent it! With that in mind, this pulled pork poutine is sure to please all food lovers! This generous recipe, featuring a good portion of pulled pork, 5 potatoes transformed into homemade fries, a piping hot poutine sauce, and of course, the essential cheese curds, is guaranteed to be a hit with all fans of this Quebec specialty and anyone wanting to discover it.

Also plan for:

30 ml (2 tbsp) of olive oil

Steps

The day before the meal, defrost the pulled pork in the refrigerator.

At mealtime, preheat the oven to 205 °C (400 °F).

Cut the potatoes into sticks.

In a bowl, mix the potatoes with the oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the potato sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, without overlapping them. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the fries are crispy.

Place the shredded pork and cooking juices in a saucepan. Cover and reheat over low heat for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In another saucepan, heat the poutine sauce over low-medium heat for a few minutes.

Divide the fries among four bowls. Top with pulled pork and cheese curds. Drizzle with sauce, then garnish with caramelized onions.
