Easy Sunday spl Dal Chawal घर का दाल चावल Pudina Mint Chai bonus recipe Recipe

Prepared Ginger green chili paste, तयार किया हुआ अदरक हरी मिर्च का पेस्ट.

Ingredients · Servings 2-4
  • jaggery
  • Lemon
  • Lemon Grass
  • mint leaves
  • Raw mango
  • Rice
  • Toor Dal
Method · 35 min
  1. In a kettle, add water, fennel seeds, jaggery, tea leaves and let it boil for 5-6 minutes.
  2. In a cup, add mint leaves, lemon wedge and prepared chai and mix well.
  3. Serve hot.
  4. In a mortar pestle, add ginger, green chillies, salt to taste and grind it into coarsely paste.
  5. Keep it aside for further use.
  6. In a handi, heat ghee & oil, add onions seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, small mustard seeds, prepared ginger green chili paste and let it saute for a minute.
  7. Add toor dal, moong dal and saute it very well.
  8. Add asafoetida, degi red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, water and mix it well.
  9. Cover it with the lid and cook it for 20-25 minutes on medium flame.
  10. Add raw mango, jaggery and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Transfer it on a serving dish along with prepared rice and garnish it with fried red chillies, lemon wedge and coriander sprig.
  12. Serve hot.
  13. In a handi, add water, salt to taste, green cardamom, short grain rice and mix it well.
  14. Cover it with the lid and cook it for 10-15 minutes on low to medium flame.
  15. Open the lid and transfer it to the serving dish or bowl along with prepared cooked dal.
  16. Serve hot.
  17. In a pan, heat oil & ghee, add dry red chillies and fry them for 2-3 minutes or until it's crispy.
  18. Remove it on a plate or tray and keep it aside for further use.

5-6 no. Dry red chillies, सूखी लाल मिर्च

Fried chillies, तली हुई लाल मिर्च.
