Easy Kerala style Pepper Chicken केरल का spl चिकन मसाला unique Chicken Masala Recipe

Ingredients · Servings 2-4
- Chicken legs
- cornstarch
- curry leaves

Method · 40 min
- In a bowl, add eggs, cornstarch, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, salt to taste, curry leaves, chicken legs and mix it well.
- Keep it aside to marinate it for a while.
- In a pan, add cinnamon stick, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, green cardamom, black peppercorns and dry roast it for 2-3 minutes until it's aromatic.
- Transfer it to a mixer grinder jar and grind it into fine powder.
- Keep it aside for further use.
- In a handi, add oil, once it's hot, add curry leaves, onions and saute it for a while until translucent.
- Add green chillies, salt to taste, ginger garlic paste and cook it for a minute.
- Add degi red chili powder, fresh tomato puree and cook it for 5-6 minutes on medium flames.
- Add little water, prepare dry masala and give it a good mix.
- Add water to adjust the consistency, curry leaves, fried chicken and let it simmer for a few minutes on medium flames until it's cooked well.
- Finish it with green chillies, curry leaves, lemon juice, black pepper powder and give it a good mix.
- Transfer it to a serving dish, garnish it with coriander sprig and lemon wedge.
- Serve hot with parotta or steam rice.
- In a kadai, add oil for frying, once it's hot, add marinated chicken and fry them until tender.
- Transfer it to an absorbent sheet and keep it aside for further use.
