Cheese Sticks and Ranch Sauce
750 gr. fresh kashar or mozzarella bar cheese
Panko – breadcrumbs
Salt
2 cloves of garlic
Salt
1 generous bunch of parsley
Cut the cheese stick into slices about one inch wide. Slice each slice into rectangles about one finger wide. Heat a pan on the stove. Add the panko breadcrumbs and sauté until they darken in color, then transfer to a bowl. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. In another mixing bowl, crack and whisk the egg. Add salt, black pepper, and paprika to the panko breadcrumbs and mix. Coat the cheese slices in flour, egg, and panko breadcrumbs. Place all the cheese slices on a plate and freeze for 1 hour. Heat sunflower oil in a pan. Add the fried cheese slices to the hot oil and fry. Remove the fried cheese slices to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
For the ranch sauce: Place the strained yogurt in a mixing bowl. Add the milk, mayonnaise, white vinegar, crushed garlic, salt, chopped dill, and chopped parsley, and mix well.
