Squid in sauce

- 500g frozen squid insole
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 20 cl vin blanc sec

- 2 tsp basil
- 3 tablespoons of tomato paste

Method · 5 min
- In a cast-iron casserole dish, gently sauté the finely chopped garlic, onion, and basil. Add the frozen squid rings. Stir well and let the squid release their juices for 5 minutes. Pour in the white wine and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Place the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste in the pot. Don't forget to season to taste. Mix everything well and simmer for 45 minutes over low heat.
- Serve piping hot with Creole-style basmati rice.
