Ingredients for 6 pcs. 1 can croissant dough (regular size) 100 g cream cheese 2 tbsp powdered sugar 4 tbsp cranberry compote (recipe) This link opens in a new tab.
Here's how to make it. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (fan-assisted).
Roll out the croissant dough and press the edges together. This will give you a long, narrow sheet of dough.
Mix the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and spread this over the dough.
Spread the cranberry compote over the cream cheese. Make sure not to apply too thick a layer. Roll the dough back up and then let it firm up in the freezer for half an hour.
Cut the dough into 6 equal slices.
Place the cranberry rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake them for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If necessary, cover the cranberry rolls with aluminum foil halfway through baking to prevent them from becoming too dark.
