Pasta salad with tuna
And of course, cheese goes into this tuna pasta salad too. I am a huge cheese lover and always have various types in my fridge. I’m not really into strong cheeses, but rather the milder ones like goat cheese, cheddar, burrata, etc. In this recipe, I use feta, which pairs well with tuna. Another great one.
Ingredients · Servings 4
- 200 g penne
- 1 can of tuna
- 50 gr arugula
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 2 slow steps
- 80 gr more
- Juice of half a lemon
- A handful of fresh basil
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Method · 15 min
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packaging. Drain and place in a large bowl.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and cut the spring onion into rings. Add this, along with the tuna and the arugula, to the pasta salad.
- Season the pasta salad with a drizzle of olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, and some salt and pepper.
- Garnish with feta and coarsely chopped basil and serve immediately. Or store the tuna pasta salad in the refrigerator until ready to use. It keeps for about 2 days, so it's also nice to take to work the next day.
P.S. This tuna pasta is delicious when you're in the mood for a warm meal. Almost the same ingredients and just as quick to prepare.
