Pinot Grigio DOC delle Venezie and FAI: a collaboration

The Consorzio DOC Delle Venezie – the largest national designation of origin, bringing together the Pinot Grigio production chain of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino, and Veneto – will be working alongside the FAI (Italian Environment Fund) starting in September to support the Foundation's Calendar of Events.

This prestigious collaboration will be inaugurated tomorrow, Friday, July 5th, starting at 8:00 PM during the Summer Festival organized by the FAI Giovani Milano Volunteers group in the Gardens of Villa Necchi Campiglio (Via Mozart, 14), which will be decorated in the style of the Majorelle Gardens, reminiscent of a true riad in the heart of the Lombardy capital. This is the first event for the Consortium supporting the FAI's activities, during which guests will be able to enjoy chilled glasses of Pinot Grigio DOC Delle Venezie amidst spaces of culture, entertainment, fine music, and other Made in Italy excellence.

What unites the paths of the FAI and the most consumed Italian still white wine with a designation of origin worldwide is a shared commitment to protecting and promoting the region, its excellence, and its unique and inimitable cultural heritage. Among these excellences is the Pinot Grigio DOC delle Venezie, which has become an iconic product of the Bel Paese. Thanks to the dedicated and consistent work of the Consortium, it has won over global consumers in just a few years. The DOC delle Venezie today plays a fundamental role in promoting the quality and heritage of Italy's winemaking, which is why it has decided to partner with the Foundation with the goal of promoting Italy's artistic and natural beauty.

Not just agri-food excellence. The Delle Venezie designation of origin extends across a vast, interregional area, the Triveneto region, whose history and culture are the product of the Great Republic of Venice, with its prestigious universities, cities, villas, and world-famous monuments, starting with Venice, but also Verona, Vicenza, Padua, and Treviso, as well as Trento, Udine, Pordenone, Trieste, and others.
