Alex Cordobés and Mahou create the most Madrileño cheesecakes
Mahou's tribute to San Isidro ranges from a beer filled with carnations to a musical collaboration of Madrid chotis with La La Love You, Marlena and Pignoise, or a capsule collection of chulapo vests with the Carmen 17 workshop.
Mahou Cinco Estrellas wanted to celebrate one of the most important dates on the Madrid calendar in style, right in the city where it was born. For this eclectic and varied edition, they chose to serve a cheesecake created in collaboration with renowned Madrid pastry chef Álex Cordobés.
The collaboration reinvents their iconic cheesecake with two flavors: aniseed, reminiscent of the plain doughnuts, and lemon, reminiscent of the classic Spanish version. Two traditional versions with a touch of Mahou Cinco Estrellas beer.
The donut-flavored cheesecakes can be tasted at Plaza Mahou located inside the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, as well as at the chef's workshop at Calle Velázquez 60.
