How to make Pork & Snap Pea Lo Mein Recipe

Pork & Snap Pea Lo Mein is a delicious and satisfying Chinese-inspired dish. Tender slices of pork are stir-fried with crisp snap peas and tossed in a flavorful sauce. The noodles are cooked until al dente and then combined with the pork and snap peas, creating a perfect balance of textures.

Ingredients for Pork & Snap Pea Lo Mein Recipe

2 ounce Lo Mein Noodles

1/4 pound Pork Tenderloin, Thinly Sliced

1/2 cup Snap Peas, Trimmed

1/2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil

3/4 tablespoon Soy Sauce

1/2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce

1/4 tablespoon Sesame Oil

1/4 tablespoon Cornstarch

as needed Sliced Green Onions, For Garnish

Cooking Directions

STEP 1.In a large pot, cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

STEP 2.In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork slices and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the wok and set aside.

STEP 3.In the same wok, add the snap peas and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender. Return the pork to the wok.

STEP 4.In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce over the pork and snap peas. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

STEP 5.Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the wok and toss to coat them in the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat through.

STEP 6.Serve the Pork & Snap Pea Lo Mein hot, garnished with sliced green onions.

Cooking Tips

For extra flavor, marinate the pork slices in soy sauce and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.

Feel free to add other vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms to the stir-fry for added variety.
