Cottage cheese kugl with dried fruit

Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a large bowl, beat the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar, add sour cream, cinnamon, lemon zest and dried fruit. Stir in the pasta. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the flavored mixture into it.

  • 300 g wide noodles and flakes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 250 g soft cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 130 g caster sugar
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g raisins
  • 50 g dried apricots

  1. Cook the noodles in lightly salted water until soft. Drain and immediately stir in the butter.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a large bowl, beat the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar, add sour cream, cinnamon, lemon zest and dried fruit. Stir in the pasta. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the flavored mixture into it. Sprinkle the top with a little cinnamon, sprinkle with almond flakes and put in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Before serving, you can sugar it to taste. SOMETHING EXTRA You can use leftover noodles, provided that you greased them with butter after cooking. You can also enrich the kugel with chocolate chips or nuts. You can sprinkle crumbs on top or cover the surface with thin slices of apples and butter.
