What herbs does the emollient contain?
Traditional Peruvian emoliente is made from an infusion of medicinal plants such as horsetail, plantain, and boldo, combined with toasted barley and flax seeds, which give it its characteristic texture. Aromatic herbs like lemon verbena or mint are often added, along with cat's claw bark and fruit peels to balance the flavor.
