Casserole with minced meat and mashed potatoes
Este guiso con carne picada, puré de patatas y puerros es uno de esos clásicos que siempre triunfan. Sencillo, sabroso y perfecto para un día entre semana. Un auténtico plato reconfortante que gusta a toda la familia y que puedes preparar sin complicaciones.
Ingredientes · Raciones 3
- 800 gr kruimige aardappelen
- 300 gr rundergehakt
- 1 prei (circa 300-400 gr prei)
- 2 tenen knoflook
- 1,5 tl paprikapoeder
- 1,5 tl kerriepoeder
- 1 tl tijm (gedroogd )
- 75 ml melk
- 25 gr boter
- 75 gr geraspte (belegen) kaas
- Snufje peper en zout
Método · 45 min
- Schil de aardappelen, snijd ze in stukken en kook ze gaar in een pan met water en een snufje zout.
- Giet af en stamp de aardappelen met de melk en boter tot puree. Breng op smaak met een snufje peper en zout.
- Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden.
- Maak de prei schoon en snijd in ringen.
- Snijd de knoflook fijn.
- Giet een scheutje olie in een pan en bak het gehakt met een snuf zout en peper rul.
- Voeg de knoflook toe en 1-2 minuten mee. Doe daarna de prei in de pan en bak een paar minuten mee totdat de prei iets zachter is.
- Breng het gehaktmengsel verder op smaak met paprikapoeder, kerriepoeder, tijm en een snufje peper en zout.
- Verdeel het gehakt-preimengsel over de bodem van een ovenschaal.
- Schep de aardappelpuree eroverheen en strijk glad. Bestrooi de bovenkant met de geraspte kaas.
- Zet de ovenschaal circa 20 minuten in de oven, totdat de kaas gesmolten en licht goudbruin is.
- Laat de ovenschotel even staan en serveer direct.

- 800 g floury potatoes
- 300 g ground beef
- 1 prei about 300-400 gr prei
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1.5 tsp paprika powder
- 1.5 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 75 ml milk
- 25 g butter
- 75 g grated (mature) cheese
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation method:
- Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and cook them until tender in a pan with water and a pinch of salt.
- Drain and mash the potatoes with the milk and butter to make a purée. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Clean the leeks and cut into rings.
- Finely chop the garlic.
- Pour a splash of oil into a pan and fry the minced meat with a pinch of salt and pepper until crumbly.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the leeks to the pan and cook for a few minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Season the minced meat mixture further with paprika, curry powder, thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Spread the minced meat and leek mixture over the bottom of an oven dish.
- Spoon the mashed potatoes over it and smooth it out. Sprinkle the top with the grated cheese.
- Place the baking dish in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and light golden brown.
- Let the casserole stand for a while and serve immediately.
