Croissant dough quiche with feta and tomato
This quiche with croissant dough is nice and easy to make. We fill the quiche with tomato, bell pepper, and feta. Just pop it in the oven and you have a tasty vegetarian meal on the table. Serve the quiche with a simple salad, for example.

- 1 blik croissantdeeg
- 250 gr cherrytomaten of 3 tomaten
- 1 rode paprika
- 150 gr feta
- 3 eieren
- 50 ml kookroom
- 1 tl Italiaanse kruiden
- 0,5 tl knoflookpoeder
- snuf peper en zout
- eventueel handje geraspte kaas
Method · 45 min
- Verwarm de oven voor op 170 graden.
- Halveer de cherrytomaten (grote tomaten snijd je in plakjes) en snijd de paprika in kleine stukjes. Verkruimel de feta.
- Vet een quichevorm in en bekleed de bodem en zijkanten met het croissantdeeg. Druk de naden van het deeg goed tegen elkaar.
- Verdeel de paprika en cherrytomaten over de bodem. Verdeel daarna de feta erover.
- Klop de eieren los met de kookroom, Italiaanse kruiden, knoflookpoeder en een snuf peper en zout.
- Giet het eimengsel over de groenten en feta. Strooi eventueel nog een handje geraspte kaas over de quiche.
- Bak de quiche circa 30 minuten in de oven, totdat het eimengsel gestold is en het croissantdeeg goudbruin is. Dek eventueel af met aluminiumfolie als het deeg te bruin wordt.

- 1 tin of croissant dough
- 250 g cherry tomatoes or 3 tomatoes
- 1 red bell pepper
- 150 gr more
- 3 eggs
- 50 ml cooking cream
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- pinch of pepper and salt
- optionally a handful of grated cheese
Preparation method:
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes (slice large tomatoes) and cut the bell pepper into small pieces. Crumble the feta.
- Grease a quiche pan and line the bottom and sides with the croissant dough. Press the seams of the dough together firmly.
- Distribute the bell pepper and cherry tomatoes over the base. Then spread the feta over it.
- Whisk the eggs with the cooking cream, Italian herbs, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and feta. Optionally, sprinkle a handful of grated cheese over the quiche.
- Bake the quiche in the oven for approximately 30 minutes, until the egg mixture has set and the croissant dough is golden brown. Cover with aluminum foil if the dough starts to brown too much.
