Masters of Taste Awarded in Turin
There are 215 Masters of Taste in Turin and its province, a project by the Chamber of Commerce and Slow Food Italy. They will serve for the two-year term 2027-2028.
The Masters of Taste of Turin and its province are the result of a meticulous two-year selection process by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and Slow Food Italy, with the collaboration of the Chamber's Chemical Laboratory.
For the two-year period 2027/28, 215 businesses in the food and wine sector have been identified and awarded, divided into 24 categories.
There are 28 new Masters, while 187 have been confirmed from the previous edition.
Turin takes the lion's share, winning 77 references, but a total of 95 municipalities have received the recognition.
The most represented category is that of agricultural companies (23), followed at a distance by ice cream parlors and pastry shops with 21.
Taste, Turin-ness, and hygiene and health aspects are the fundamental criteria for being among the chosen ones.
During Terra Madre Salone del Gusto (24-27 September), the names and addresses of the Masters of Taste will be collected in a brochure distributed at the institutional stand of the Turin Chamber of Commerce in Piazza Carlo Alberto.
