Löttorp celebrates harvest festival with anniversary

Löttorp is preparing for this year's harvest festival, where the town square and the village will be filled with activities for several days.

According to Patrik Svensson, chairman of Löttorp's Future Association, the anniversary will be celebrated by bringing back several classic activities. These include straw bale rolling, a sausage-eating competition and truck pulling.

The association also hopes that this year's competition for the largest and heaviest pumpkin will beat last year's record of 209 kilograms.

  • On Saturday, the Pimp your pumpkin competition, which was a success last year, will also return, says Patrik.

The harvest festival begins on Thursday with a walking music quiz that takes participants through the village, past gardens and cottages.

Throughout the harvest festival, there will be things to see and do in the square in Löttorp. There will be sales and raffles in the square from the village's various associations, and it will be possible to carve a pumpkin on site in the square, where tools and decorations will be provided.
