Annual Festival of the Sea This Saturday in Point Pleasant Beach
I have been to the Point Pleasant Beach "Festival of the Sea" many times over the years, and it's always a fun and delicious day!
If you have ever spent time in Point Pleasant Beach, you know this is a town that really knows how to celebrate the Jersey Shore. Between the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and downtown businesses, there is usually something going on.
One of the year's biggest events is the Festival of the Sea, a September tradition that takes over downtown Point Pleasant Beach.
The festival dates back to 1975, when it began as an end-of-summer gathering. What started as a smaller community event has grown into one of the area's major annual festivals.
The Point Pleasant Beach 48th Annual "Festival of the Sea" is this Saturday, September 19th, in Downtown Point Pleasant Beach from 10 am to 7 pm.
There will be free shuttles going back and forth (Noon-7:00pm) from the festival to the following locations:
Point Pleasant Boro High School Parking Lot.
I love the food at the "Festival of the Sea". It goes without saying there is plenty of delicious Jersey Shore seafood, but there is so much more great food. Something for everyone!
